Know the grade before you pay to find out.
GradeLab scans both sides of a trading card and analyzes centering, corners, edges, and surface — entirely on your iPhone. No upload, no account, no per-scan cost.
Estimate only — not an official PSA, BGS, SGC, or CGC grade.
Border ratios measured to the pixel, front and back
All four scored independently — the worst one counts most
Chipping, whitening, and silvering on foil stock
Scratches and creases, separated from factory print lines
Both sides, always
Every professional grading service evaluates both faces, and the back is often where a card loses points — Pokémon backs are famously off-center from the factory, and vintage backs miscut in ways the front never reveals. A front-only grade would systematically over-report. GradeLab will not produce a grade from one side.
What this is, and what it isn't
- It is a precise centering measurement and a machine-learning assessment of corners, edges, and surface, with a confidence score on every result.
- It is not a grading service. GradeLab is independent and unaffiliated with PSA, BGS, SGC, or CGC. Its estimates have no standing with them.
- When unsure, it says so. Below 60% confidence the app shows a range instead of a single number and will not issue a certificate.
